Volunteers needed for entire 2021-22 winter season
I love this initiative! Please sign up to volunteer if you can, or to get help shoveling if you need it!
The City of Evanston is once again offering its snow shoveling program this winter to connect older adult residents and persons with disabilities with volunteers who will shovel the snow from their drives and sidewalks.
Folks seeking help with snow removal and people who would like to volunteer should sign up today.
Volunteers are needed for the entire 2021-22 winter snow season.
How does the program work?
Evanston residents who request assistance for snow shoveling services will receive a list of available volunteers in their area.
Residents will be responsible for contacting volunteers from that list and for scheduling their services.
Volunteers are responsible for completing the work or notifying the resident if they are unable to complete the work.
This program is a FREE service and there should be no exchange of money or goods.
