The Woman’s Club of Evanston accepting grant applications for nonprofits addressing food insecurity.

The Woman's Club Of Evanston has launched solicitations for grant applications for its 2021-2022 grant cycle.

Each year, the WCE designates an annual funding focus and invites nonprofit organizations in Evanston and surrounding communities to submit grant applications.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, November 10, 2021, by 5 p.m. CST.

"Annually, our club raises between $125,000 to $150,000 for local organizations while contributing thousands of volunteer hours for the community," said Michelle Stroud, WCE Contributions chair.

This year, the organization is focusing on Evanston, Skokie, and Rogers Park organizations that address food insecurity.

All applicants should clearly describe how their project fits within the chosen focus area.

Grants--are generally between $500 and $5,000

WCE Revue Beneficiary--between $20,000 - $30,000

WCE Spring Benefit Beneficiary--$30,000+, and

2022-23 Clubhouse Usage Award.

The application also identifies organizations for Community Outreach volunteer short-term and single day service projects.
